Aloha-Tude(TM) Your job as a Shavista (Shave Ice Barista) and cashier will be a blend of hospitality and operations.
Aside from taking orders and processing payments, you'll often be responsible for making sure the front of the house is neat and orderly, restocking items, and preparing/refilling syrups and assigned duties.
Responsibilities:
Shave ice and pour syrups to company standard Uphold the values of exemplary guest service through the modeling of behavior and established guidelines Maintain the highest standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and food/product safety Conduct sales/take orders, process and maintain the security and integrity of all cashless transactions and cash tips Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Duties are shared on a rotational basis by taking turns in different responsibilities of the shavista ULULANI'S HAWAIIAN SHAVE ICE REQUIREMENTS FOR TEAM MEMBERS Relational Loves people Excellent problem-solver Works well under pressure Highly organized Attentive to detail Good multi-tasker Able to accept and, also give direction Teamwork Previous experience in a customer service environment, as well as strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, are highly preferred Working knowledge of basic payment handling/processing, and/or math required A neat and clean appearance is always required Must be able to work closing shifts, weekends, holidays, and company-defined blackout periods COMPENSATION Start Base Pay $13 - $15 an hour (Depending on experience) start
tips (Avg.
w/tips is $18-24/hr.

Year Round; Variable hours Part-Time Shift run 4-5 hours; Full-Time Shift run 7-9 hours.
Please note we do not provide relocation/housing assistance or employee quarters.
We are currently offering an innovative housing/loyalty incentive (the program is currently in a trial phase; the employer has the right to change/omit the program .
Qualifying Full-time Ululani's associates (32+/hours a week), once employed - 1 month at 64+/hours monthly, having met all qualifications, may be eligible to receive an incentive ($200 on the following month once qualifications are met), to help offset the cost of living and reward loyalty to our organization and team associates for being an integral part of our Ohana.
