The major function of this position is:
This position is rotating position that focuses on both the daily repair of returned sunglasses and also processing all sunglasses returns from accounts and general consumers.
In order of importance, the principle responsibilities and duties of this position are:
Credits & Returns
Verify and document all requests for returned sunglasses and issue credits appropriately.
Determine proper actions for repairs or amount of credit based on condition of product and amount originally paid.
Inspect and Issue all account and retail credits / returns for Maui office.
Issue all correction credits.
Determine which goods meet repair and/or credit criteria, both warranty and non-warranty.
Perform Parts Breakdown, put away and transfers to its proper final location accurately and efficiently.
Prepare monthly summary of credit / returns issued.
Repairs
Process sunglasses repairs for both walk-in customers and sunglasses returned via mail.
Maintain an average of 3.6 repairs per hour and a 15 day turnaround time on completing account credit / returns.
Code and Invoice all repair charges and credit / return amounts accurately in computer system.
Prepare monthly reconciliation of inventory transactions.
Assist Customer Service with documentation to answer customer requests for information on status of returns.
Assist other departments as needed relative to office staffing.
Secondary Duties:
Perform all other work-related duties as requested or required.
Assist in Repair Department
Assist in other departments as needed
Assist Production Manager as necessary to meet the daily work requirements.

High School
Skills:
Ability to communicate in a variety of business settings and provide outstanding customer service, Ability to type 40 wpm, Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously, Aloha Spirit, Familiarity with computer software for research and input, Good hand-eye coordination, Strong attention to detail
Special Requirements:
Ability to utilize a PC
Ability to utilize a variety of frame repair tools, and to work with your hands
Ability to receive incoming and place outgoing telephone calls
Ability to communicate in a variety of business settings



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
