Job Description

Position Summary:

To coordinate and lead a comprehensive program of recreational activities for children and adults. Create a sense fun and enthusiasm to participants. Must be able to engage and involve guests and owners in a variety of programs.


? Responsible for leading family activity programs. Guest service and assistance related to activity programs as well as general needs for information and direction.

? Communicating and promotion guest activities and resort special event programs to owners and guests.

? Maintain and oversee all recreation areas Kid?s Club, pool and any other areas used for activities, ensuring adequate levels of all supplies throughout all recreational areas, including calendars and flyers.

? Maintain assigned equipment, report maintenance issues to the Director of Fun and/or other managers as needed. Collaborating and coordinating as needed with other resort departments on activities and events.

? Planning and organizing activities within the resort which include children?s programs, adult activities, special events, conference recreation and holiday programs.


? Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

? Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.

? Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.

? Ability to convey a sense of fun with enthusiasm to the participants

? Basic computer literacy

? Showmanship and stage presence is essential

? High level of energy

? Service oriented attitude towards guests

? Ability to use good judgment in areas of safety and security of participants

? Good / Excellent swimming ability

? 18 years of age minimum

Physical Demands:

Most work tasks are performed outdoors on a year round basis

? Position requires walking and giving direction; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.

? Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different outlets and other departments of the hotel on a timely basis.

? Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and stocking tasks.

? Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. On a regular and continuing basis.

? Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

? Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.

? Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.

? Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

? Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, 10-key adding machine, electric typewriter, multi-line touch tone phone, filing cabinets, FAX machines, photocopiers, dolly and other office equipment as needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
